Title V, Part B-
Rural Education Achievement Program (REAP)
The Rural Education Achievement Program (REAP) is designed to assist rural districts in using federal resources more effectively to improve the quality of instruction and student academic achievement. It consists of two separate programs-The Small, Rural School Achievement program (SRSA) and Rural, Low-Income Schools program (RLIS). Colcord Public School participates in the SRSA program.Eligibility for the SRSA program is determined by the United States Department of Education and funds are allocated directly to eligible LEAs. At the state level, the alternative uses of funds authority (REAP-Flex) provides eligible LEAs with greater flexibility in using the formula grant funds they receive under certain state-administered federal programs.
