I began teaching 4^th and 5^th grade at Colcord Public Schools in August, 1995.  In May, 1997, my husband’s job took our family to the Ft. Smith, AR area for several years.  I was able to return to Colcord Public Schools in November of 2004 teaching 4^th and 5^th grade math.  Since that time I have taught Kindergarten for 3 years, 3^rd grade for 2 years, and special education for 7 years.  I am currently the Special Education Director and co-teacher for Kindergarten-third grade.

My husband Will and I have 3 children.  Emily, 23,  is a Colcord graduate and a Rogers State University graduate and will begin teaching Pre-K in Tulsa this year,  William, 20,  is a Colcord graduate and is currently a junior at the University of Arkansas as an Informaiton Systems major. Matthew, 18, is a senior at Colcord High School. 

Will is an engineering graudate from the University iof Arkansas and owns an HVAC business.
